Typically in the style of historic structures orangeries are practical and impressive structures and their classical 17th century style reflects their origins when they were used by the nobility during the summer to entertain and to look after fragile plants during the winter.

Today, their tall doors can be double glazed, to make practical, impressive and airy rooms.
